How to add notes specific to a Deal?
Notes help salespeople to record important information regarding a Deal. This article covers the steps to be followed for adding notes specific to a Deal, in the Deal details page.
Prerequisites
- Permissions: Any user with note as special permission on deal & create permission on note
- Product Plans: Embark/Elevate
- Activities to be Completed: None
Steps
Step 1
Click on the 'Deals' tab on the homepage. This will lead to the All deals page. Find the deal from the list, either manually scrolling down or by using the filters. Click on the lead name to navigate to the Deal details page.
Step 2
Click on the left quotes icon on the right panel of the screen. This will open Notes Pane.
Step 3
Type the notes in the input box at the top of the Notes pane and click on the 'Add' button below. The notes will be created and listed below the input box.
