How to add tasks specific to a contact, on contact details page?

The sales team's interaction with contact will involve many activities like follow-up calls, reminder emails, product demo, etc. Users can record such activities and set reminders for the same using the Tasks feature in Kylas CRM. This article covers the steps to be followed for creating a task-specific to a Contact, in the Contact details page.

Prerequisites

  1. Permissions:  Any user with special access to create tasks permission
  2. Product Plans: All
  3. Activities to be Completed: Contact Creation

Steps

Step 1 
Click on the 'Contacts' tab on the homepage. This will lead you to the All contacts page. Find the Contact from the list,  either manually scrolling down or by using the filters. Click on the Contact name to navigate to the Contact details page.



Step 2
Click on the 'Tasks' icon on the right panel of the screen. This will open the Tasks List Pane. 



Step 3
Click on the 'Add Task' button on the top right corner of the Task List pane. This will open the 'Create task' form.



Step 4
Fill in the task details and click on the 'Save' button at the bottom right corner. The newly created task will be visible in the tasks list pane.
