Assign Different Profiles to the Layout - Deal

This article covers the steps on how you can assign different profiles to the Layout.

Prerequisites

1.Permissions: Configuration Management > Layout > Basic Access: Toggle on "Create" & Administrative Access: "Update All"
2. Product Plans: Elevate
3. Activities to be Completed: None

Refer to the section 6 (a)  for -  How to Create a New Deal Layout?


Steps 

Step 1. Post you are done creating a Layout, Click on Save and Next.


Step 2. You can choose to mark new custom layout as default, by doing so it will auto populate the layout that all the user will see when no specific profile has been assigned & Click on Select profiles for the layout radio button to choose specific profile for custom layout.




Step 3. Once you have selected desired user profile , Click on Save.



Step 4. Custom layout will be seen on layout listing page, where in you can check which user profiles is setup for this newly created layout




Note - 1. You can choose to assign same layout for multiple user profiles
            2. Only 1 custom layout can be set for user profile at a time

Incase you need to create multiple Layouts profile with some minor changes, you can clone the layout to add / delete / rename required  sections or fields instead of creating a completely new layout.
