How to Connect Mailchimp with Kylas to sync Leads and Send marketing emails

 This article will brief you with the steps on how to connect Mailchimp with Kylas.

Prerequisites 

Permissions - Any user with access to the Kylas account API key.

Step by Step Process

 Step 1 - Navigate to the Kylas Marketplace tab on the default dashboard panel.


Step 2.  Select Bulk Email Marketing.


Step 3. Click on the Install App option.

 Step 4. It will ask you to Sign in to your account. Add your credentials and proceed further. Listing page with all the required permissions would open up. Click on Allow and Install.

Step 5. After installation it will ask you to sign up to the application with your email ID. Once done verify the email ID and sign in.


Step 6. Navigate to the installed app section of the marketplace and click on View details.


Step 7. Click on the API keys section and enter the Kylas API key. ( You can find the Kylas Api key ) Also, select the business object accordingly. Once you checkmark to any of them,  and whenever a prospect replies to your whatsapp message the system will create the Lead/Contact based upon what you have selected.


Step 8.  Go to connected accounts - Add the connected account name and select the Vendor - Mailchimp. Enter your Mailchimp account Email ID from the Mailchimp account. Select the checkbox in front of active/enabled and click 'Save and Connect' 


As soon as you click on 'Save and Connect' you will be redirected to Mailchimp's portal for authentication. Enter your login credentials and click 'Login'. 


Then click 'Allow' to let Mailchimp authorize 'Kylas bulk email' application. 


After this your Mailchimp account will be successfully connected in Kylas. 

Step 9.  Go to Sync Settings. Add the Sync Setting Name, select the vendor, checkmark the Kylas Entity , select the mailing list  and add the field mappings > Save.



Notes
Note - Make sure you map the similar Kylas fields with the Vendor fields.
