Prerequisites:
Plan Type: Elevate. Add-on - WhatsApp Business.
Your WhatsApp Business account should be connected in the Kylas.
Profile Permissions:
- WhatsApp Business > Administrative Permission > "Read All" & "Update All".

If the lead/contact is existing in the Lead/Contact List then it not going to create again. Now, to create Lead/Contact in Kylas just by message from Lead/Contact on WhatsApp Business number, you need to check the checkbox as per your requirement. If you want to just create Lead then just check the checkbox of the Lead only, if you want to create contact then also check the checkbox for Contact.
Step 3:
While creating Leads/Contacts in Kylas using WhatsApp business number, you need to map fields while creating Leads/Contacts through WhatsApp Business by clicking on the CTA - "Map Fields". After clicking on the 'Map Fields', you'll able to see Map fields details for the Campaign Information as "Campaign", "Source", "Sub Source", "UTM Source", "UTM Campaign", "UTM Medium", "UTM Content" and "UTM Term", etc.
Step 4:
In Campaign field, you can select which type of lead/contact is getting created/generating through this WhatsApp Business account. It is For Ex. - either “Organic” or “Promotion” Leads getting generated.
At "Source" field, you can select what type of Lead/Contact source it is For ex. - "Facebook", "LinkedIn", "Exhibition" or "Cold Calling" type of lead is getting to generate in Lead section.
Also put "Sub Source", "UTM Source", "UTM Campaign", "UTM Medium", "UTM Content" and "UTM Term" and then If you want to save the current field mapping then Click on the CTA - "Save" button, otherwise do "Cancel".
You can also map fields by clicking on drop-down with CTA - "Map Fields".
Step 5:
As you want to create leads in the Kylas using WhatsApp business number, so If you receive a WhatsApp message from any unknown number or if the lead is not already existing in the Lead/Contact list, then Lead will automatically gets created in your Lead list.
As you can see, there is no lead present, but once you get message from lead then lead will automatically gets created in lead list and you'll find the WhatsApp message on that lead as well, same in contact list as well. You can also be able to see the message of that Lead/Contact on its WhatsApp Business conversation.
In Last Name of the Lead, you'll find the Lead/Contact name. You can also able to see the campaign details on that Lead/Contact. As shown in below img.
