How to create new user profiles?
It is mandatory to assign a profile to each user in Kylas CRM. A profile defines what are the activities the user is permitted to perform in the CRM. This article covers the steps for creating new user profiles and defining the permissions for each type of role.
Prerequisites
- Permissions: Any user with access to Control Center along with the permission to Create/Edit Profiles.
- Product Plans: All
- Activities to be Completed: Creating a company account
Steps
Step 1
Click on the 'Profile Permission' option under the 'Users' tab on the admin dashboard.
Step 2
Click on the Add button on the top right corner of the page to open the User Profile creation form.
Step 3
Fill in the details of the new profile in the user profile creation form that opens after step 2.

Check the products for which the user profile needs to be given access.

Step 5
After step 4, a table with a list of modules in the row section and the type of permission as column headers will be displayed. Users can select the permission to be granted to the role/profile from this table. There is also a provision to drill down to the forms associated with each module.

After step 5, click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.
