This article covers the steps on how to import the meetings in Kylas.
Prerequisites
- Permissions: Any user with permission to Create meetings.
- Product Plans: Elevate
- Activities to be Completed: None
Steps
Step 1. Navigate to the CRM settings> Dashboards> Data Management > Import Data.
Step 2. Click on Import button in blue.
Step 3. Choose "Meetings" from the "What do you like to Import Dropdown"?
Step 4. Click on Get Started.
Step 5. Download sample file (Sample file consists of dummy import data for your reference)
Step 6. Prepare import file, Replace the dummy data in the sample file with the details of your Meetings.
Step 7. Select your edited file to be uploaded into the system.
Checkmark - My file has a header option.
Step 8. Click on Upload> Next
You can import a maximum of 10000 Contacts in a batch
Step 9. Now map your file columns with system fields provided. You can choose to skip unmapped fields if all data in excel is not required to be uploaded in bulk . Once done Click on Next.
Map minimum required fields mapped for Meetings in order to proceed further.
Step 10. Post Mapping the fields, it will prompt you to review all the data to be imported. Once done Click on Import Data.
Note - Importing of Data cannot be paused and once done cannot be reversed.
Step 11. Once all the records would be processed, you'll be notified w.r.t. the completion of import operation.
Step 12. You will get a full report of the data imported w.r.t to the Records created, updated and skipped.
Import Summary would help you download the original .csv file with the import data record.
In case of wrong data input in excel file used, system throws an error & provide excel export with error reasons to rectify & re upload.
Notes :
1. Only CSV files are supported to upload data in bulk
2. Upon successful upload, status can be checked under All Imports > Import Status
3. If status is "Draft" same can be used to edit & re upload
