How To Clone a User Profile

It is mandatory to assign a profile to each user in Kylas CRM. A profile defines what are the activities the user is permitted to perform in the CRM. This article covers the steps to be followed for cloning/duplicate the already created user-profile which is already created in the CRM

Prerequisites

Permissions: Any user with access to CRM setting along with the permission to Create/Edit profiles

Product Plans : ALL

Activities to be completed: Create a profile

Step by Step Process

1. Go to CRM Settings option.

2. Under 'User Management' click on Profile Permissions.

3. In the list of created profiles, click on an ellipsis option.

4. Click on 'Clone' option and the similar profile would be create with existing profile name extended with 'copy'.

5. Rename the profile as per your requirement and then click on 'Save' as an option to save the changes.

Note - 1. There are two system generated profiles - Admin and Restricted.

            2. Permissions for both the profiles have been set by default and can't be altered.

            3. To customise permissions, tenant would need to create a custom profile.
