How to Share the Company Records?

Company Records play a crucial role in the CRM structure, since they hold all the details pertaining to the customer's business type, industry they are dealing with, all the point of contacts you would be dealing within that organization. There might be some scenarios where a team collaboration can maximize the efficiency of results. For some, collaboration can limit only to group discussions, team meetings or sharing information via an Email. Whereas, another form is of data sharing, be it of any record type.

Sharing Company records will not only help the sales team crack out a deal with joint effort but also lowers the day- to day- revenue tracking activities for the Accounts Team. In such cases, record owner would need to share the records with the internal stakeholders to get them into action.

Kylas CRM allows you to  share the Company records with specific user or a team. Below are the steps to help you get started.


Prerequisites

Permissions:  Any profile with Read permission on company & create permission on data sharing
Product Plans: All
Activities to be Completed: Company Creation

Steps 

Step 1. Navigate to the Sales panel on the left> Click on the Company entity.



Step 2. Listing page with All the companies would open up. Find the company record you'd like to share with the new user/team either manually or by setting the required filters. Select the chosen company record, it will take you to its detail page.



Step 3. Click on the dropdown icon - " More" > "Share"



Step 4.  Select the User/ Team under Share to dropdown. Search the user's/ team's name in the search option with whom the record should be shared. Select the permissions or access that needs to be granted by enabling the toggles.





Step 5. Once done, Click on the Share option on the bottom of the window. The record would be shared with the assignee.
