Managing WhatsApp Business Accounts in Kylas: Setup, Migration, and Deletion


1) Onboarding a New Account with an Embedded Signup Link (Using a
Fresh Phone Number)
To onboard a new WABA using an embedded signup link, follow these steps:
● Ensure that the embedded signup link provided has our solution ID attached to it. This is
essential for Haptik to gain access to the WABAs created via this link.
● Create a new WABA and add the phone number.
● Once you verify the OTP and complete the four setup steps, your account will go live
and be ready for use.

2) Phone Number Migration from Any Whatsapp service provider to Kylas Whatsapp
If you are migrating a phone number from another Whatsapp service provider to Kylas Whatsapp, please follow the steps below:
● Disable two-factor authentication (2FA) on the previous Whatsapp vendor's WABA.
● Remove the credit line associated with the previous Whatsapp vendor's WABA.
● Once the above conditions are met, proceed with the standard embedded signup
process. After the OTP is verified, your account will be live and ready to use.

3)Complete deletion of number from Kylas Whatsapp
● Always inform Kylas team to delete the number and clean the account details so that your
number does not get stuck anywhere.

4)Phone Number Migration from Kylas WhatsApp to any other Whatsapp service provider
If you are migrating a phone number from Kylas Whatsapp to another Whatsapp vendor, please follow the steps below:
● You can migrate to any WhatsApp service provider and inform Kylas team by sharing the WABA and phone number so that Kylas team can remove and stop the
subscription of that particular account.

5)Phone Number Connected to Normal WA or Business WA.
In the above case you have to delete the Normal/Business WA and then follow normal
onboarding explained in 1st pointer.
