How to create a custom report in Kylas CRM?

Along with some off-the-shelf reports, Kylas CRM also provides users the leverage to create custom reports that aids them in decision-making. This article explains the procedure for creating a custom report using the Report Builder in Kylas CRM.

Prerequisites

  1. Permissions:  Any user with permission to Create Custom Reports, Read permission on Entity.
  2. Product Plans: Embark/Elevate
  3. Activities to be Completed: None

Steps

Step 1
Go to the Reports section and Click on the 'Create New Report' button on the Reports listing page.




Step 2
Insert the Report name and description.



Step 3
Select the report parameters -


  1. Entity Type: The entity about which the report is to be made (Lead/ Deal/ Contact).
  2. Chart Type: User can choose the visualization style (bar chart, pie chart, table)
  3. Date Filter and Date Range -  User can choose the Date created and Date range accordingly,
Step 4 - Choose the Dimensions and Metrics.

Dimension: The entity over which the data has to be grouped (eg: Owner, pipeline, product etc.
Metrics: The data that has to be measured for the report.



Step 5. Set Filters and Generate Preview of the report before saving it. Click on Save and complete the report.




Tip - Only those records will be visible which are accessible by the user.
