This Article covers how to create scoring rule in Kylas. Scoring rules in CRM help prioritize and segment leads, customers, or opportunities based on predefined criteria such as behavior, engagement levels.
Prerequisites
Permissions: Create\Update all- Scoring Rule Read - Lead
Product Plans: Elevate.
Steps to setup Lead Scoring Rule:
Step 1. Login into Kylas >> Navigate into Setting >> Navigate into Automation >> Scoring Rule.
Step 2. Click on Scoring rule tab into side menu bar, then the scoring rule create page will open and Create Rule CTA will be visible.
Step 3. When clicked on the "Create Rule" CTA to create lead scoring rule will pop up and, in this popup, you will be seeing 2 fields
Rule Name - Represents the name of the Rule to be created.
Score Field - By default system field will be auto selected.
Scoring Type -Positive /Negative (Radio button). (According to the requirement you can set the score) and you will see "Start Creating" CTA.
Note: -
Positive Rule - Identifies high-value leads, Increases lead score
Negative Rule - Filters out poor-quality leads, Decreases lead score
Step 4. After creating rule, the rule form will open and, in this page, you will see the below action items as show in visuals.
4.1 Lead event based on lead Scoring rule.
Event selection from dropdown - You can select the event for which you want to set the scoring rule Note: - If you are selecting the lead event then you will be able to set multiple condition to setup the scoring rule criteria on lead properties.
Condition - you will be able to see all core fields related to the lead entity and based on that you will be able to set the conditions, and you will be able to set multiple conditions for the same rule.
Click on "+Add New condition" you will be able to add multiple condition and see all condition in order 1,2,3.
Note:- Same way you can create scoring rule for Call event and Email event.
Step 5. If you have added multiple condition and want to delete the condition, you will be able to see the remove icon and the condition that you want to delete simply click on delete button on that particular condition and that condition will be removed.
Note: If there is only one condition then you will not be able to delete that condition.
Step 6. You will be able to enter the value which will reflect in the field selected in popup while creating the scoring rule when this scoring rule will trigger.
Note: Scoring value max limit 0 to 100
Step 7. You will be able to add Multiple criteria click on "+Add New Criteria" action below and you will be able to add another event and condition and action.
Step 8. After adding multiple criteria if you want to delete any of the criteria then click on the delete button on those criteria, the criteria will be deleted.
Note: If there is only one criteria then you will not be able to delete that.
Step 9. You will be able to see the "Save & Activate" and "Save" CTA. Once you click on "Save & Activate" CTA, then that scoring rule will be saved and activated, and you will receive a toast message with the text:
"Scoring Rule created successfully."
Step 10. If you will click on "Save" CTA. In this case scoring rule saved and a toast message will appear with the text:
"Scoring Rule saved successfully."
Note:- Scoring rule will be saved only but not activated.
Step 11. After creating and saving the scoring rule all the scoring rules will be visible on the lead scoring listing page.
Step 12. If you want to update the scoring rule, click on ellipsis icon beside on the scoring rule or click on the created scoring rule you want to update and you will be able to perform below action.
Step 13. On Lead scoring listing page, you will search the scoring rule by the scoring rule name
Step 14. When you click on the change view icon dropdown then you will be able to switch between the listing or card view.
Step 15. You will be able to add filters on Lead scoring listing page and select columns.
