How to create a Company in Kylas CRM?

This article covers the steps for creating a Company, the dependencies, and pre-requisites for executing the feature, glossary/definition of domain-specific entities associated with the process of creating a Company.

Prerequisites

  1. Permissions:  Any user with permission to create a company.
  2. Product Plans: All
  3. Activities to be Completed: None

Steps

Step 1
Click on Add button under the 'Companies' tab on the homepage.



Step 2
Fill in the details of the new Company in the Company creation form that opens after step 1. The Company info is categorized into 5 sections (General Information, Social, Communication, Location). Only the 'name' is mandatory to create a Company.



Step 3
After filling in the Company details in step 2, click on the Save button. Then, a success message will be presented; after which the user will be directed to the 'Company list' page, where the Company records will be displayed.
