How to Edit/Update Company Details?

Companies play a critical role in the case of B2B sales. certain information pertaining to a company may change over time. A number of employees, the products which the organization is interested in, the address, etc. are some examples of the same. This article covers the steps to be followed for editing/updating details of a Company based on the latest received information.

Prerequisites

  1. Permissions: Any user with permission to update company details.
  2. Product Plans: All
  3. Activities to be Completed: Company Creation

Steps

Step 1 
Click on the List button under the 'Companies' tab on the homepage. This will lead to the Companies List page. Find the Company to be edited from the list,  either manually scrolling down or by using the filters. Click on the Company name to navigate to the Company details page.



Step 2
Click on the 'Edit' button on the top right corner of the Company Details pane to open the 'Edit Company Form'.



Step 3
Fill in the new details of the Company/ update existing details in the 'Edit Company' form. The Company info is categorized into 5 sections (General Information, Social, Communication, Location). 



Step 4
After filling in the Company details in step 3, click on the Save button. Then, a success message will be presented; after which the user will be directed to the page, where the updated details of the Company will be displayed.
