How to Generate invoices using Quickbooks?

This article will cover steps to integrate Quickbook with Kylas. This app helps users to connect their invoicing application and create invoices directly from CRM itself without switching the apps. Kylas users can connect to this invoicing tools to generate and view invoices.

QuickBooks allows you to keep track of financial functions like income and expenses, employee expenses and inventory in real-time.

Prerequisites 

  1. Permissions:  Any user with access to the Kylas account API key or Access to Kylas Marketplace.
  2. Product Plans: Elevate
  3. Activities to be Completed: None

Steps

Step 1: Navigate to Kylas Marketplace, add Quickbooks app



Step2: Click on Install App



Step 3: Allow required / requested permission to proceed & install app

 

Step 4: Once installed, sign up. A message with a confirmation link will been sent to your email address. Please follow the link to activate your account.



How to Connect QuickBooks account:

Login to the Quickbooks invoices app (https://books.integrations.kylas.io) and navigate to ‘Connected Accounts’ section > Click on ‘Connect to Quickbooks’




Follow the OAuth flow of Quickbooks and log in with your Quickbooks account.

How to Generate Invoices:

Step 1: After connecting the Quickbooks account, navigate to Kylas Sales Deal details page of any Deal for which you would like to create invoices.

Step 2: Click on more action button (The chevron icon on the right hand side of Edit)



Step 3: Click ‘Generate QB invoice’


Step 4: Enter the required details in the invoice form and generate an invoice



How to view all invoices:

1. Navigate to the Deal details page for which you would like to view the invoices 
2. Click on ‘View Invoices button’ shown on the right hand side productivity section
3. You should be able to view all invoices generated by the Quickbooks invoicing application
