Overview

The Campaign Influence App in Kylas CRM helps link campaign and UTM data to Meetings by prioritizing information from associated Leads, Deals, and Contacts. This ensures better visibility into how marketing efforts are influencing sales conversations. With simple setup and automation, the app enhances campaign tracking, attribution, and cross-team alignment.

Prerequisites:

Ensure the following Profile permissions are set:

  • Leads, Deals, and Contacts:

    • Basic Access: Read

    • Administrative Access: Read All, Meetings 

  • Companies & Products and Services:

    • Basic Access: Read

    • Administrative Access: Read All

Steps to Set Up the Campaign Influence App

Step 1: Install App

  • Open Kylas Marketplace → Search “Campaign on Activities”

  • Click the app → Install

  • Sign up & verify email (if not already registered)


Step 2: Copy API Key

  • Navigate to CRM Settings > Integration > API

  • Locate and Copy your API Key

  • Paste it into the required field in the Campaign Influence App




Step 3: Configure Influence Settings

  • Go to Influence Settings in the app

  • Enable the checkbox for Meeting activities

  • Select P0 as Lead ,P1 as Deal and P2 will auto set as Contact or update is according to your requirement.









Step 4: Prioritize Fields & Save

  • Set priorities (P0, P1, P2) for Lead, Deal, Contact

  • Lead details will appear on the associated Meeting based on priority

  • Click Save to apply the configuration







Step 5: Campaign & UTM Fields Mapping

  • On Lead, fields like Campaign, Source, Sub Source, and UTM parameters (Source, Campaign, Medium, Content, Term) are filled

  • Similar fields are also available on Deal and Contact for consistent tracking










Step 6: Create a Meeting with Linked Entities

  • While creating a Meeting, you can link multiple entities and add invitees

  • After creation, you and the Conducted By user can view UTM parameters on the meeting—based on the priority set in Lead/Deal/Contact

Note: Once the Meeting is scheduled, the Campaign details will be visible on the Meeting record.
