Prerequisites:
Your Business WhatsApp account should be connected in Kylas.
Plan Type: Elevate. Add-on - WhatsApp Business.
Profile Permissions:
- WhatsApp Business > Administrative Permissions > "Read All" & "Update All"
- WhatsApp Template > Basic Access > "Read" & "Read All" to access templates created by other users.
You can send Custom messages on Lead/Contact only when my Session is Active on that Lead/Contact. And that Session gets activated only when lead itself sends/reverts to you.
Active Session will remain only for 24 Hrs. After the session gets Inactive, you’ll not be able to send Custom messages.
Step 1:
If you want send a custom WhatsApp message to Lead or Contact then you should be login to your Kylas account. Go to the Leads section and search Lead in the search bar with that Lead/Contact then you'll find that searched Lead/Contact.
Step 2:
Once you find the Lead, to send message on the Lead just click on the Lead and go to the WhatsApp Business in productivity session. Then you'll able to see the conversation with that Lead/Contact.
Step 3:
If the session is “Active” then only, you’ll able to send custom WhatsApp messages as a user. Your Lead/Contact can send custom messages to you any time. Your session gets Activated only when your Lead/Contact reverts to your template and that Active session will remain only for 24 Hrs.
Step 4:
As you want to send the custom message on that Lead/Contact, you need to have Active session on that Lead/Contact and you have that active session just click on the type field to write your custom message. As given in the below fig.
Step 5:
To send custom message, type the message in the type field. after that to send the typed message you will find the "Send" icon in the side of that message. message will get delivered to the Lead/Contact.
Step 6:
Once you send the message on the Lead/Contact and that custom message reached the Lead/Contact then you'll able to see the "double-tick" on the message.
Step 7:
Once you send the message on the Lead/Contact and that custom message get read by that Lead/Contact, then you will find the "blue double-tick" on the message.
