How to Create Different Page Layouts for Leads in Kylas CRM
Page layouts allow businesses to customize the fields and structure of the Lead creation and detail views to suit various teams or processes. For example, you can create a dedicated layout for inbound leads and another for channel partner referrals.

- You are logged into your Kylas CRM account as an Admin.
- You have access to CRM Settings and the Layout Customization section.

What is Lead Details Layouts?
Lead page layouts are customizable templates that control which fields and sections appear when creating or viewing a lead. Kylas allows you to design multiple layouts to match your team’s workflow
Why Use Multiple Layouts?
Having distinct layouts helps in:
- Displaying only relevant fields for each department
- Reducing clutter and simplifying data entry
- Streamlining onboarding and user training
- Controlling access to sensitive or advanced fields
Step-by-Step: Creating a New Layout
Step 1: Go to CRM Settings
Navigate to CRM Settings > Customization > Layouts
Step 2: Click on the Lead Module
In the module list, find Leads and click on it
Step 3: Click on 'Add Layout' or edit the existing one
Provide a Layout Name
Optionally enter a Description
Step 4: Customize the Layout
Drag and drop fields from the left panel
Organize them into sections
Use 3 dots to make fields mandatory or hidden as required
Click Save & Next. This layout is now available for use in the system
Step 6: Assigning Layouts to Teams or Roles
Select one option either "Select profiles for the layout" or "Make it a default layout."

(for assigning the customized layout select "Select profile for the layout" and select the profiles from the picklist mentioned)
Note: Layouts with Internal name: "clCreateClients" are a custom layout (created by the user), and Internal name "createLead" are system layouts (built into the system)
