Link click tracking records whether the recipient clicked on a hyperlink within your email. In Kylas, this feature provides:

  • The exact time and date of the click

  • The number of times the link was clicked (re-clicks)

  • A filterable view of leads/contacts who interacted with your email

🔄 Email Tracking Add-on

You need to purchase the Email Tracking Add-on from Kylas Marketplace.

📨 Email Must Contain Hyperlinks

Tracking works only if your email contains valid links (http/https).

đź“§ Email Must Be Sent via Kylas

The email should be sent from Kylas email composer or via automation.

đź“‚ Proper User Permissions

Ensure the user has email access permissions in role settings.

Step-by-step Guide:

  1.  Click on CRM Settings
  2. Navigate to Communication section- under that click on email settings to check if the email id is configured and connected., also check the email tracking feature is enabled.

  3. Open a lead/deal/contact on which you have sent an email.
  4. Navigate to email icon once you open the lead.


  5. Compose an Email with Hyperlinks:

    • Go to any Lead/Contact

    • Click Send Email

    • Add your message and include one or more hyperlinks (e.g., https://example.com)

  6. Send the Email:

    • Click Send

    • Email Tracking automatically records link clicks if the add-on is active.

  7. Check Click Reports:

    • Navigate to the filter and select Open and clicked at.

    • You will see:

      • “Email Clicked”

      • “Clicked At: [timestamp]”

      • Optionally: Number of times the link was clicked

  8. Apply Filters:

    • Use filters like Email → Clicked, This helps in segmenting engaged and unengaged leads.

  • Link tracking only works for emails sent via Kylas, not from external tools.

  • Repeated clicks are also recorded (e.g., “Clicked 3 times”).

  • Along with clicks, Opened At and Reopened timestamps are also available.

  • Emails not opened are marked as Unread.

  • You can combine filters like: Opened → Yes and Clicked → No to retarget leads.

  • Email tracking is a paid add-on, not part of the free CRM plan.
